Area of Triangles, Parallelograms, Trapezoids & Circles Worksheet Generator

Area practice for Grades 5–6 beyond rectangles. Every problem is a labelled drawing with the base marked, the height dashed and a right-angle mark: triangles, parallelograms, trapezoids, circles (area or circumference) and composite figures made of a rectangle plus a triangle or half circle. Find the area, or work back from the area to a missing side, height, radius or diameter. Choose whole numbers or decimals, π as 3.14, 22/7 or left in the answer, the units, a formula box, and print with an answer key that shows the working.

Every drawing labels the base, dashes the height and marks the right angle. Composite figures are always find-the-area pages. With π ≈ 22/7 every radius is a multiple of 7 so the fraction cancels; with π ≈ 3.14 and decimals, circle answers are rounded to the nearest tenth. The answer key shows the working for each problem.
