Decimal Place Value Worksheet Generator (Tenths, Hundredths & Thousandths)

Decimal place value practice for Grades 4–6. Find the value of an underlined digit, name its place, switch between standard, expanded and word form, write digits into a place value chart, or print a Decimal of the Day page with boxes for word form, expanded form, more and less, rounding, a fraction, a hundred grid, a number line and comparing. Choose tenths, hundredths or thousandths and add an answer key.

Numbers go up to 99.999. Expanded form is written with decimals (0.6 + 0.07), and word form reads the point as “and”. Word form and the place value chart stop at 16 problems so every writing line and chart cell stays big enough to write in.
