Equal Groups Worksheet Generator

Introduce multiplication and division with equal groups, for Grades 1–3. Children count circles of dots or pictures and write “3 groups of 4”, the repeated addition and the multiplication sentence; draw groups from a prompt; decide whether groups are equal; or share a pile equally onto plates. Add an answer key.

Start with "Count the groups" and up to 5 in a group for 1st and 2nd grade. "Share equally" is a first look at division; up to 10 in a group stretches 3rd graders.
