Food Chain & Food Web Worksheet Generator

Print free food chain worksheets for ages 7–11. Children put the living things of a chain in order, cut and paste them, find a missing link, label the producer and the consumers, decide who is a herbivore, a carnivore or an omnivore, read a food web, or draw a chain of their own. Pick a pond, forest, ocean, grassland, desert, Arctic, garden or rainforest, chains of 3 to 5 living things, a vocabulary box and an answer key.

Every arrow points from the food to the living thing that eats it. Start with chains of 3 in one habitat for grade 2; chains of 5, the roles activity and food webs suit grades 4–5.
