Kakuro Puzzle Generator (Cross Sums for Kids)
Print free cross sums puzzles for ages 8–12. Each clue is the sum of a run of white squares; fill the squares so every run adds up to its clue and no digit repeats inside a run. Pick easy grids with the digits 1–6 or bigger grids with 1–9, one, two or four puzzles per page, a few starter digits, a “ways to make the sum” helper, a how-to-play box and an answer key.
Every puzzle has exactly one answer and can be finished with logic alone, no guessing. Start 8-year-olds on Easy with a few digits filled in; Hard is a real challenge for ages 11–12. The grid is reshaped to fill the page, so turning both boxes off gives a new, larger puzzle.
