How the math path works
- The board alternates number circles and operator circles, so every move hands you either a new operation or the number it acts on.
- Moves go right or down only — one circle at a time, never diagonally and never backwards.
- Work left to right, doing each operation the moment you land on it. There's no “multiply first” rule here.
- Every step lands on a whole number. If a route asks you to divide and it doesn't come out even, that's the wrong way.
Which difficulty to pick
- Easy (4×4, + and −): grades K–2, adding and subtracting within 30 over three steps.
- Medium (6×6, +, − and ×): grades 2–4, five steps with small multiplication facts mixed in.
- Hard (8×8, all four operations): grade 4 and up — seven steps, including exact division.
Tips for grown-ups
- Click New math path for a fresh board — every puzzle is verified so that exactly one route reaches the target goal.

- Pencil beats pen: kids will want to try a route, back up, and try another. That backtracking is the problem-solving part.
