Multiplication Flash Cards Generator

Build a printable deck of multiplication flash cards in seconds. Tick the times tables you want to drill (the sixes and sevens are usually the trouble spots), choose multiplication facts, division facts, or both, pick a card size, and print — with an optional matching answer sheet so a grown-up can quiz along.

Cards print with a dashed cut line and only the fact on the front (e.g. 7 × 8), so kids read the problem and say the answer out loud — the classic flash-card drill. The answer sheet at the end lists the same facts with their products, laid out so it lines up with the front pages for easy grading.

Each selected table produces 12 cards (1×N through 12×N). Facts that overlap between tables are only printed once.

How to use these flash cards

  • Start narrow. Pick just two or three tables at a time — the twos and fives first, then tens, then work outward. A tight deck of 24–36 cards is far easier to master than the full 144 in one go.
  • Shuffle once kids know them in order. Reciting 2, 4, 6, 8… is muscle memory; a shuffled deck forces genuine recall. The Reshuffle button generates a fresh order without changing the tables.
  • Flip to division. Once the times tables land, switch the operation to Division (or Both) — kids see 56 ÷ 7 instead of 7 × 8. It's the same fact family, drilled backwards.
  • Cut once, use for weeks. Print on card stock if you have it, cut along the dashed guides, and keep the deck in a zip bag. The answer sheet stays with the adult.

Picking the right card size

Large (4 per page) is best for younger learners and classroom flash-card drills — the numbers are readable from across the table. Medium (6 per page) is the everyday choice for at-home practice. Small (9 per page) squeezes a full 1–12 deck into the fewest pages — handy for building a travel deck or covering every fact on one binder ring.
