Number of the Day Worksheet Generator
Print a free Number of the Day template for ages 5–10. One big number sits at the top and the page below is a grid of boxes to fill in about it: write it in words, expanded form, a place value chart, ten frames or base-ten blocks, one more / one less, odd or even, rounding and a number line. Choose 1- to 5-digit numbers or type your own, one or two numbers per page, with an optional answer key.
The boxes change with the number size: numbers to 10 get ten frames, tally marks and a number bond; 2-digit numbers add expanded form, a place value chart, base-ten blocks and coins; 3-digit and up add 100 more / less and rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000.
