Ratios, Rates & Proportions Worksheet Generator

Ratio practice for Grades 5–6. Count shapes and write the ratio three ways, simplify ratios and find equivalent ratios with × and ÷ helper arrows, fill in ratio tables, find unit rates from short real-life sentences, or solve proportions for a letter. Pick a level and 6 to 12 problems, and print with an answer key.

Start with writing ratios from shapes, then simplify and find equivalent ratios — the small box on each arrow is for the × or ÷ step. Ratio tables and unit rates lead into proportions; Hard proportions have no whole-number step, so they need cross-multiplying. Six or eight problems print large with room to work; ten or twelve are more compact.
