Silly Sentences Generator (Roll, Build & Write)

Print blackline silly sentence pages for ages 5–9. Roll a die for who, did what and where, cut out sentence-building cards, or pick from a word bank and draw every sentence. Add “when” and a describing word for longer sentences, choose K–1 or grade 2–3 words, or type your own. Every mix makes a real sentence.

Your own words (optional · separate with | · up to 12 per box, 24 letters each · the rest come from the level's word bank)

Every mix is a real sentence: The (describing word) who + did what + where + when. Type “who” words without “the” (cat, bus driver) and the page adds it; a name with a capital (Maya) or “my dad” is kept as typed. “Did what” works best in the past tense (danced, ate a taco). The dice table, the cards and the word bank share the same words until you press New words, so you can print all three as a set. Each part has its own shape and outline, so the cards sort without colour.
