Word Family Flip Book Generator

Print free word family flip books for Kindergarten to Grade 2. Each book is a long strip with the word family on the right and a stack of letter pages on the left — cut, staple and flip to read cat, hat, chat, flat. Choose short-vowel families or long vowels and blends, 4–8 pages, two books or one big one, and add a “Words I made” recording page with a real-or-nonsense sort.

Kindergarten: short-vowel families, 4–5 pages, pictures on. Grades 1–2: long vowels and blends, 7–8 pages, with nonsense words to sort. Every real page makes a real word; nonsense pages are hand-checked to be harmless. (No pictures for these words — try -un, -en, -ell, -ock, -ab, -ide or -ar.)
