TinyClimbs Play Terms of Use

TinyClimbs Play is an app of learning games for children, made by TinyClimbs. By installing or using it you agree to these terms and to the TinyClimbs Play Privacy Policy. The general TinyClimbs Terms of Use apply to the website and the account you may share with it.
Who may use it
Accounts are for adults. The app is made for children to play under the supervision of the parent who set it up. If you create an account for your family, you are responsible for how your household uses it.
What you can do
- Install the app on the devices in your family and let your children play.
- Set up the player, the age group, the focus shelves and a treat for your child.
- Use the app with or without an account.
What you can't do
- Repackage the games as your own product, or reverse-engineer the app.
- Use automated tools to post rounds or climb the leaderboard.
- Try to find out who is behind a leaderboard nickname.
Treats
A treat is a reward you choose and give yourself, such as an ice cream or a trip to the park. The app only counts points towards it and tells your child when the target is reached. It does not provide, sell or promise anything.
Top Climbers
The leaderboard shows nicknames the app invents, with scores by age group. You can turn it off for your child in the Parents screen. We may remove scores or players that look automated or abusive.
Game suggestions and the weekly note
Which game comes next, and the weekly note to parents, are produced with help from a language model. They are suggestions, not an assessment of your child, and may occasionally be wrong or odd. Age groups and levels are rough guides, not a curriculum; adjust the age group if a level is too easy or too hard.
Purchases
Some features may be unlocked by a one-time purchase, TinyClimbs Pro, made through Apple's App Store or Google Play and subject to that store's terms. It is not a subscription. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
No warranty
The app is provided as-is. We don't guarantee that a game is error-free, that it fits any particular curriculum, or that the app and its online features are available at all times. You're responsible for what your child plays.
Accounts
Keep your email accurate so sign-in codes reach you, and don't share your account with others. You can delete your account at any time from the Parents screen in the app or by emailing us. We may suspend accounts that abuse the app.
